Cedar Bay Yacht Club is one of Southwest Florida's top destinations for boating, fishing and water sport enthusiasts.

A brief 20-minute ride to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, CBYC is the largest fully covered marina in Marco Island with 350 indoor dry-storage boat slips, a Mercury Certified Service Department with Yamaha Certified Technicians, and a large fleet of rental boats.

A full-service dry storage rental facility, Cedar Bay stores, launches, flushes and washes your boat up to 40 feet in length, to include catamarans and jet-skis.

CBYC is the largest fully covered slip rental facility in Marco Island, offering a true valet boating experience for all guests.

Our expansive covered indoor storage area ensures your boat's safety while you are away. With 350 available slips, the fully covered marina protects your boat from the harshest of elements in a pristine, secure environment.

We offer a variety of boat Slip Rental packages on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. All guests receive our one-of-a-kind Valet Boating service with further options including our Captain's Care Program or Trailer Storage.

All it takes is a phone call.

One phone call and your boat is picked up from its storage slip, provisioned, fueled and launched into the water, awaiting your arrival.

Once you arrive, simply park your car and walk straight onto your boat; it's that simple!

We take care of the details so you can enjoy your day on the water without the hassle. When you return, we haul, wash, flush and store your boat so you can enjoy the rest of your day. Truly valet boating!

Each package is custom-tailored to fit your requirements based upon boat size and include the aforementioned concierge boating services so your boat is ready the moment you arrive!

Captains Care Program

Receive piece of mind: your boat is top priority. A 12-month renewable program, the Captain's Care Program helps prevent unwanted maintenance issues and increases the longevity and value of your boat.

Once a month your boat is launched, washed, started and sea-trialed to ensure all systems are operable, fluids are in check, and your engine is running properly. Your boat is being taken care of! Here is the proof.

After the inspection is complete, a detailed written report is sent to you when service is complete. Should any problems arise during the inspection, you are notified before additional service is performed to keep your boat in top-notch condition. Our Service Department is here to make your boat shine inside and out!

Trailer Storage

Our trailer storage provides truly hassle-free concierge boating.

Leaving for a trip by land? No worries! We’ll load your boat on your trailer.

While your boat is safely held in the marina, your trailer is kept in our adjacent storage yard, locked and secure, providing additional ease throughout the storage and retrieval process.

When you first bring your boat to us, we will unload your boat from your trailer and store it on site, away from harm and out of your way until you need it again. We'll then load your boat onto the trailer, and you are on your way!

Accessible from the water or by trailer we provide a free haul out or trailer unload for all service work performed, a truly unique feature not available elsewhere!

From routine service to complete engine replacement and full computer diagnostics, CBYC's Service Department is ready to diagnose and resolve your boat's issues. Our various packages ensure your boat is taken care of right the first time.

We employ highly experienced, trained master mechanics and service professionals that are certified Mercury and 5-Star Yamaha technicians. A detailed list of certifications can be viewed here.

Using advanced Mercury's Computer Diagnostic System G3, Mercruiser catalytic converters for emissions testing and Axius motor troubleshooting capabilities, we are here to solve any and all of your boat's problems!

  • Retorque the outboard mounting fasteners that fasten the outboard to the boat transom. Torque to 75 Nm (55lb-ft)
  • Change engine oil and replace the oil filter. The oil should be changed more often when the engine is operated under adverse conditions such as extended trolling.
  • Inspect thermostat visually for corrosion or for a broken spring. Make sure thermostat closes completely at room temperature.
  • Check engine water separating fuel filter for contaminants. Clean and/or replace filter.
  • Check corrosion control anodes. Check more frequently when used in saltwater.
  • Drain and replace gearcase lubricant.
  • Check power trim fluid.
  • Check power steering fluid (if so equipped).
  • Inspect battery.
  • Saltwater usage. Remove and inspect spark plugs for corrosion and replace spark plugs as necessary. Apply a thin coating of Anti-Seize Compound only on threads of spark plugs prior to installation.
  • Check wiring and connectors.
  • Check tightness of bolts, nuts, and other fasteners.
  • Change boat water separator if applicable.
  • Check for Bulletins.
  • Check on Computer Diagnostic.
  • We recommend water pump at 100 hours in our water conditions.

  • Replace water pump impeller (more often if overheating occurs or reduced water pressure is noted).
  • Replace high-pressure in-line fuel filter.
  • Replace spark plugs at first 300 hours or three years. After that, inspect spark plugs every 300 hours or three years.
  • Replace spark plugs as needed.
  • Replace accessory drive belt.
  • Computer Diagnostic.

Long Term Storage Preparation

Plan on leaving your boat for an extended period of time (two months or longer)?

Our Service Department suggests a “Summerization” to preserve your boat from salty air and potential rust while not in use. Doing so helps keep fluid levels stable, protects your engine, and maintains the value of your boat.

  • Add fuel stabilizer
  • Run and flush engines
  • Change fuel filters
  • Change gear lube
  • Fog engines
  • Remove and grease propeller shaft
  • Apply corrosion block to metal surfaces
  • Disconnect all batteries
  • Drain fuel from fuel system
  • Drain the carburetors / vapor separator tank
  • Drain any remaining water from engine
  • Remove drain plug and zip tie it to the key ring
  • Wash and cover vessel

Seasonal Make Ready Break Outs

After the summerization of your vessel or if your vessel has been sitting for a period of time, a "Breakout" should be performed. This is essential in keeping your vessel in tip-top shape.

  • Reconnect batteries and charge them
  • Reinstall all drain plugs to engine and vessel
  • Run engine on hose
  • Check gauges
  • Check all equipment on vessel (VHF radio, navigation lights, etc.)
  • Check all fluids on engine and add as needed
  • Check trim tabs for accuracy
  • Check bilge pumps / livewell pumps
  • Check vessel registration current
  • Sea trial
  • Wash and cover vessel
  • Advise customer of any discrepancies

Request Reservation

Rental Boats

Rent access to 40+ miles of marked Collier County waterways and beaches. We offer instruction in basic navigation, boat operation and tips regarding your chosen activity as well as a waterproof chart, cooler, VHF radio and all required safety equipment.

Our newly repowered 23' Harris Kayot deck boats are powered by fuel-efficient 150 horsepower Mercury Optimax outboards. Our deck boats have a capacity of 12 people and are perfect for exploring the beautiful waters around Marco Island. Bring your family and friends for a memorable day on the water.

Rental boats are available for full or half-days. Extended boat rentals (including multiple days, weeks and months) are also available.
